For this weeks “Where Are They Wednesday” we wanted to break the mold and the name that came to mind was Christylynne! Christylynne had a way of putting a smile on everyone’s face and motivating her team at the same time. Even new coaches in the gym have heard the many amazing stories of her hard work and dedication during her time in our facilities. She began cheering at the age of 3 which led to her joining Apex all star in 2006. The very next year she transferred over to Rocky Mountain Elite where she spent the rest of her all star season competing. During her time with RME and United she was on several teams and crossed over on every level. Christylynne had the amazing opportunity to be on two National Championship teams in 2009 and 2013. While talking with Christylynne we found out that one of her favorite memories was being able to coach the gyms Rec mini team. Christylynne attended Cherry Creek High School where she was a 4 year varsity letter winner. During her time with the Bruins she was able to help lead her team to two Regional Championships and compete at UCA High School Nationals every year. On top of all or her commitments she helped start the first special needs squad at her school called the Bruin Sparkles. Christylynne loved being a Bruin and supporting her teammates which led her to be chosen as the team captain her Junior and Senior Seasons. After high school Christylynne chose to attend the University of Wyoming where is she is a Kinesiology major with an emphasis on physical therapy and a minor in disabilities. Just like in high school Christylynne has dedicated much of her time to school activities in college. She is a member of the Chi Omega Sorority and spent this year as the Campus Activities chair. Keep up all your hard work Christylynne, we are all proud of you!! Let’s here it for the one and only Christylynne!!!
