“I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Human Resources.”

How long have you been coaching and what team(s) have you/do you coach?

“I have been coaching for 9 years. I have coached at almost every level including Junior 2 Tsunami, Junior 3 Monsoon, Senior 5 Lightning (United Elite), Senior 3 Black Bears and Senior 4 Grizzly Bears (Rocky Mountain Elite).  “

Notable Achievements:

“As a coach, I have coached a team to a National Title at the All Levels Championship, I have coached 2 Senior Level 5 teams to earn Worlds bids as well as several in state 1st place titles. As an athlete at the University of Colorado, I was a member of the Small Co-Ed team that placed in finals at NCA College Nationals 3 years in a row. In 2008, I placed 3rd with my stunt group at NCA College Nationals.”

What was your favorite part of a being a cheerleader?

“I can’t really pinpoint one thing that I love about cheerleading, as it has brought so many amazing things to my life.  I love how when you’re on a team, you truly become a family and you can count on them for anything.  I love the athleticism it takes to be a competitive cheerleader.  In this sport there is always a new stunt or a new tumbling skill that you are consistently pushing yourself to be better.  I love how this sport has shaped me as a person.  Cheerleading forces you to be comfortable in front of people, it teaches you to trust others and count on others and it can teach you to be passionate about something!”

What is your favorite part about coaching?

“Coaching is one of the most fulfilling things I have had the opportunity to do with my life so far.  I love working with athletes and seeing them grow, not only as an athlete but as a person.  When an athlete confronts an obstacle, it’s my passion to help them overcome it and achieve more than they thought possible.
