Cheerleader of the Week
Ciara is a new member of the NME all star family and cheers at Holy Family High School as well. She is definitely a motivated athlete – she’s always in the gym in addition to her regular practices working on gaining and perfecting her skills! She has been such a great addition to the North Metro family and we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes this season!
Congratulations Ciara on being this week’s Cheerleader of the Week! Keep up the hard work!
Get to know our cheerleader of the week:
What grade are you in?
I’m going into my senior year of high school
What school do you go to?
Holy Family High School
How long have you been cheering?
four; three purely high school and this year I’m doing both all-star and high school.
How long have you been a part of The North Metro Elite Family?
This is my first year.
What do you like to do with your free time when you’re not cheering?
I ski, run, bike, play tennis, and swim if I can between my practices.
What is your favorite part about being at North Metro Elite?
So far it’s been the people there. Ever since my first day, everyone talks to me and treats me like I’ve been there my entire life. It’s great.
Favorite part of a cheerleading routine and why?
Stunting. I love the creativity that can be shown in a sequence. Every team you watch has a different sequence and that’s amazing to me.
What is your favorite Tumbling skill?
My favorite to watch are whips.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I’m leaning more towards genetic engineering right now, but my plans are completely open.
