Elite High School Spotlight: Rangeview Varsity

Elite High School Spotlight

Rangeview Varsity

During my time with Rangeview Varsity I have learned so much about these young athletes. They are always eager to learn and willing to work hard when the time calls for it. Watching them grow as a team has been a pleasure and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them. Good luck this week at state!

What is special about your team?

“The varsity team at Rangeview is a hard working team with a humble attitude. The athletes are unique in that most of them work to pay for there own equipment and needs and they all come in with little to no experience. They don’t take anything for granted and where they might be considered lacking in skill, they make up in character.”

What is your team’s motto?

“We have several, but this year we use the phrase “just keep swimming”, from Nemo.”

What traditions does your team have?

“We have lots of team bonding events including pool parties and visits to the resevoirs, we also always set a theme for the year with a moto and shirts and a routine to match, and we do a powder puff game, cheers versus poms at the beginning of football season.”

What is your team goal for the upcoming State Competition?

“We always strive to have our best day, but we try and always have the kind of season that no matter the outcome that 2 minutes and 30 seconds does not define our entire season.”
