Cheerleader of the Week:
We are honored to announce Marisa S. as our Colorado Elite Cheerleader of the Week! Marisa is a junior on the Sand Creek High School Varsity cheer team. Marisa does a great job keeping her teammates moving and encouraging each other. She is a great role model for her team and her work ethic proves the leadership qualities this young lady will continue to grow. Most recently, our staff have watched Marisa succeed in not only perfecting skills she already had, but as well as getting her standing tuck, a goal she has been working diligently at for some time. Marisa is a pleasure to work with in the gym, our staff know her hard work, without a doubt, will bring her success this season and in the future! Keep it up Marisa, we are proud of you!

What do you like to do with your free time when you’re not cheering?
“I enjoy eating, watching Grey’s Anatomy and exercising such as running.”
What is your favorite part about being at Colorado Elite?
“My favorite part about Colorado Elite is the freedom, I get to work at my own pace.”
What is your favorite part of a cheerleading routine and why?
“My favorite part of our routine is tumbling because I’ve always progressed well with it.”
What is your favorite tumbling skill?
“My favorite tumbling skill is my back tuck because I finally managed to accomplish it!”
What do you want to be when you grow up?
“I want to be a Pediatric Nutritionist, a children’s dietitian.”
